The SSE Thermal Community Investment Fund for Keadby is currently closed for applications. If you have applied to the fund, we will contact you about your application in due course.

We expect to reopen the fund for applications in early 2025.

Investment fund consultation findings

During spring 2024, we carried out a six-week consultation in the area around the Keadby Power Station site to give stakeholders the opportunity to provide their thoughts and ideas and for us to capture this feedback. We are working with communities to and stakeholders to help shape the plans.

Priority areas for the Keadby Fund

When open for applications, the Keadby Community Fund will give priority to applications in closest proximity to the station and those from the community council areas of Keadby with Althorpe Parish, Gunness Parish and the Isle of Axholme North.  Priority will also be given to those projects that deliver on themes, identified during consultation:

• Service provision, such as local clubs, events, activities or groups
  Biodiversity, natural environment and habitat enhancement
• Energy Efficiency and reduction in energy use
